Bell Schedule/Dismissals

Regular School Days

Grades K-6 – The School Day begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:39pm on regular School days.

Middle Years – The School Day begins at 9:00 and ends at 3:24 on regular School days.

Any student arriving after 10:00am or before 2:00pm will be marked half day.

Elementary students enter through the school yard. Middle school students enter the Middle school wing through the doors on the 6th street side.

Early Dismissal for Medical Reasons

When it is absolutely necessary to pick up a child due to medical reasons, students must be officially signed out from the Main Office. Please consider the following reminders for Early Dismissals:

Students may not be picked up from their classrooms. The Secretary will contact the classroom teacher informing them of the dismissal.
Telephone calls for early dismissals cannot be honored.
Students who leave school early must be signed out in the Early Dismissal Log Book located in the Main Office by a responsible adult.
PROPER IDENTIFICATION MUST BE GIVEN (STATE ID)

Breakfast and Early Dismissal

A free breakfast is provided daily in the Kearny Café beginning at 8:25 a.m. The breakfast program ends at 9:00 a.m. All students are welcome to attend breakfast at Kearny.

Early Dismissals

On half days dismissal is 12:30. Breakfast will still be served on half days and lunch will be provided earlier to accommodate the early dismissal.
